Generador de UUID: hasta 1000 identificadores aleatorios por lote
Generate random UUIDs and unique keys
About UUID Generator
Generates random UUIDs (universally unique identifiers), commonly used as unique keys for database records, API resources, or session tokens.
Choose how many UUIDs you need (1 to 1,000 per batch), optionally drop the hyphens or switch to uppercase, and generate them. Copy the results individually or as a full list.
Standard UUIDs are designed to be unique across systems without any central coordination — you can generate them independently in different places and trust they won't collide.
Watch: UUID Generator in Action
- Can UUIDs generated separately in different places collide?
- In practice, no — standard UUIDs are designed to be unique across systems without any central coordination. You can generate them independently in different places and trust they won't collide.
- How many UUIDs can I generate at once?
- Up to 1,000 per press of Generate. If you enter a larger number, the tool shows a note and produces 1,000. Entering zero, a negative number, a decimal or text shows a message asking for a whole number from 1 up, and nothing is generated until you fix it.
- Could two generated UUIDs ever be the same?
- A repeat is astronomically unlikely, because a version 4 UUID has 122 random bits. For normal projects you can treat them as unique without checking, though a database unique constraint is still good practice.
- Can I get uppercase or braces around them?
- Uppercase, yes: tick Uppercase, and untick Hyphens if you want the 32 characters without dashes. Braces, no: the tool does not add them. Paste the list into any text editor and use find and replace if another system needs braces.
- ¿La lista se conserva al salir de la página?
- No. Los valores viven solo en la página mientras está abierta. Al recargarla, o al presionar Generar de nuevo, se reemplazan; copia antes los que quieras conservar.
How to use UUID Generator
Enter a number in Count, from 1 to 1,000, and press Generate. The box starts at 5. Each UUID appears on its own line in a monospace font, with a small copy icon at the right edge for that single value. Under the list, the Copy All button places every UUID on your clipboard separated by line breaks, ready to paste into a spreadsheet, a seed file or a script.
Pressing Generate again replaces the previous list with a new set. If you type a figure above 1,000, a note says the maximum is 1,000 per batch and exactly 1,000 are produced. Anything blank, zero, negative or not a whole number shows a message asking for a whole number from 1 up.
When to use it
Use it when you need identifiers right now without writing code: filling test data, adding primary keys to a database fixture, naming uploaded files so they cannot clash, creating correlation IDs for logging, or giving rows in a spreadsheet a stable unique key before import. Batches up to 1,000 save repeated clicking.
When not to use it
Do not use UUIDs as passwords, API secrets or login tokens just because they look random. They are identifiers, not a designed credential format. For secrets use a password generator or your platform's secret tooling. If you need sortable ids by creation time, or short human-friendly codes, a different id scheme is a better fit.
Tips for best results
Output is in the standard lowercase hyphenated form with the version digit 4, so uppercase it yourself if a system insists. For large imports, press Generate repeatedly and paste each batch into the same file. Keep the Count at 100 if you need a quick pool, then use the single-copy icons when you only want one.
Limitations
Only random version 4 UUIDs are produced, with no name-based, time-based or sequential variants. You can switch hyphens off and uppercase on, but there is no braces option. The cap is 1,000 per press. Nothing is saved between visits, so copy what you need before leaving the page or generating a new batch.
Privacy
Each value comes from the random generator built into your browser, called directly on the page. No UUID is requested from a server or stored remotely, so the identifiers you copy are known only to you and the clipboard.
