Giveaway Winner Picker
Draw giveaway or raffle winners fairly from a list of names, with backups, extra tickets and a record of the draw
About Giveaway Winner Picker
Pick giveaway or raffle winners fairly from a list of names. Each person can win only once, you can draw backup winners, and you can give some people extra tickets.
Paste one name per line, or load your guest list. Choose how many winners and backups, then press Draw. Copy the result or download a CSV record of the draw.
The draw uses your browser's secure random number source, the same one used for passwords, so every ticket has an equal chance. Show the screen to your audience before you press Draw.
- Is the draw really random?
- Yes. It uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number source and avoids the small bias that simple methods can add, so every ticket has an equal chance.
- Can someone win twice?
- No. Each person can win once. Anyone who is drawn is taken out before the next pick.
- How do backup winners work?
- Backups are drawn in the same draw, after the winners, in order. If a winner cannot be reached, go to Backup 1.
- Can some people have more chances?
- Yes. Turn on extra tickets and write a name as Ana x3 or Ana, 3. Three tickets means three times the chance, but still only one win.
- Can I keep a record?
- Download the record as a CSV with the draw name, places, names and date. Nothing is stored by the site.
