- How is the profit worked out?
- Price, minus your cost, minus the shipping you pay, minus the percentage and fixed fee you entered. It uses only those figures, so check them against your marketplace's fee page.
- What does the price finder do?
- It works out the lowest price that leaves the margin you typed after your cost, shipping and fees, and lets you copy it into the product.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. Photos are checked and resized in your browser and only leave as the ZIP you download.
- Does it connect to my shop?
- No. You type the details in, and the board checks them and keeps track of the steps. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- How does the subscription work?
- It is $29.99 a month with a 7-day trial the first time. You can cancel any time from the link under the tool and keep access to the end of the paid month.
How to use Seller Studio
Enter the fees you pay on each sale and the margin you want, and pick the marketplace for your photo sizes. Add a product, then type its listing title and tags, price, cost and shipping, and add its photos. The board checks the photos against the marketplace guidance, checks the title and tags, works out what a sale earns after your costs and fees, and shows the lowest price that gives your margin. Tick the prep steps as you finish them. The shop audit shows repeated tags and title openings and any product that loses money. Download the resized photos for every product as a ZIP and the board as CSV or Excel.
When to use it
Use it when you are launching or refreshing several products at once and want to see at a glance which are ready to list, which are priced below your costs, and what is still to do for each.
When not to use it
It does not publish listings or connect to a marketplace. The title and tag checks follow Etsy's limits, and photo sizes follow the published guidance for the marketplace you pick. Confirm the current rules on the marketplace's own page.
Tips for best results
Fill in the fees and target margin first, then add products one by one. A product at 100% still deserves a last read of the title, because the checks catch limits, not wording.
Limitations
Profit uses only the fee percentage and fixed fee you type, so it is as accurate as those numbers. It does not model taxes, currency changes or ad spend beyond what you include in the percentage. Photos are kept in the tab for the visit and are not part of a backup.
Privacy
Your products and photos stay on your device. Photos are resized in your browser and nothing is uploaded or stored on our servers. Use Back up to save the board to your own device.
