About Digital Download Packager
Packs the files of a digital product (printables, templates, planners, fonts) into one ZIP with a license file and a short how-to-use note, so buyers get one tidy download. It can also make a square cover image from your first picture or PDF page for the listing. Everything is built in your browser.
Drop your files, type the product name and your seller details, pick a license wording and press Download ZIP. Use Make cover image for a 2000 px square picture on a white background.
Read the license wording and change it to match what you actually allow. It is a plain template, not legal advice. Some marketplaces limit the number and size of digital files, so one ZIP is often the simplest delivery.
- What goes into the ZIP?
- Your files, a LICENSE.txt with the wording you choose and a README.txt that lists the files and your how-to-use note. You can turn the license, the README and the folder off.
- Is the license legally valid?
- It is a plain template, not legal advice. Change it to match what you actually allow, and have it reviewed if the terms matter.
- Why does it warn about file count and size?
- Some marketplaces limit how many digital files a listing can hold and how large each can be. The warnings use commonly published figures, so check the current limits on your marketplace.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. The ZIP is built in your browser.
How to use Digital Download Packager
Drop the files of your product. Type the product name, your shop name and a contact, then choose a license wording: personal use only, personal and small business use, or your own text. Add a short how-to-use note if you like. Press Download ZIP.
The ZIP holds your files (in a folder named after the product), a LICENSE.txt and a README.txt that lists the files. Make cover image saves a 2000 px square picture on white from your first image or the first page of a PDF.
When to use it
Use it when you sell printables, planners, templates, fonts or other digital files and want one tidy download with a license and instructions, or when a marketplace limits how many files a listing may hold.
When not to use it
It does not make the product files, resize them for print or check their quality. The license is a plain template, not legal advice, so have it checked if the terms matter to you. It does not upload to any shop.
Tips for best results
Name your files clearly, since buyers see the names. Put the product's main file first in the how-to-use note. Open the finished ZIP once on your own computer before you list it.
Limitations
Files are stored as they are, so the ZIP is about the size of the files. File count and size warnings use commonly published marketplace figures, which change, so confirm the current limits. The cover image is a plain centred picture on white, with no text or mockups.
Privacy
The ZIP and the cover image are built in your browser. Your files are not uploaded, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
