About Email Signature Generator
Builds a clean email signature with your name, role, contact details and links, and gives it to you ready to paste into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or any other email program.
Fill in your details, pick a colour and, if you like, add the web address of your logo. Check the preview, then click Copy signature and paste it into your email program's signature box. Copy HTML code or Download are there for programs that ask for code.
Keep a signature short: name, role, one phone number and one link is enough. A logo has to be an image already on the web (a link starting with https), because most email programs do not show images pasted from your computer.
- How do I add the signature to Gmail?
- Click Copy signature, then open Settings, See all settings, scroll to Signature, create one and paste into the box.
- How do I add it to Outlook?
- Click Copy signature, then open Settings, Mail, Compose and reply, and paste into the Email signature box.
- Can I add my logo?
- Yes, if the logo is already online. Paste its web address, starting with https, and it appears in the preview. Images pasted from your computer often do not show for recipients.
- Why does it look slightly different in some programs?
- Email programs handle styling in their own way. This signature uses plain tables and inline styles, which are the most widely supported.
- Is anything saved or uploaded?
- No. The signature is made in your browser and nothing you type leaves your device.
How to use Email Signature Generator
Fill in your name, role and contact details, choose an accent colour and, if you have one, the web address of your logo. Check the preview, click Copy signature and paste it into the signature box of your email program. Copy HTML code and Download are there for programs that ask for code.
When to use it
Use it when you start a new job, set up a new email account, or want a tidy signature with links that work for clients and colleagues.
When not to use it
It does not install the signature in your email program for you, and it does not host your logo. It is also not a place for legal disclaimers, which your company may require in a set wording.
Tips for best results
Keep it to your name, role, one phone number and one or two links. Send a test message to yourself and view it on your phone before you rely on the signature.
Limitations
The signature uses simple table markup that most email programs understand, but each program can display it slightly differently, so send yourself a test email. Logos must be images already on the web at an https address. Social links are shown as text links rather than icons, so nothing depends on an outside image.
Privacy
The signature is built in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
