Text similarity API
Send two texts and get a similarity percentage. Add phraseWords to also get the share of each text that sits inside shared phrases of that many words.
Try it
POST https://api.freedailypro.com/v1/text/similarity. Get a trial key on the developers page; set it as KEY.

- a, b: the two texts
- phraseWords: optional, 3 to 8, the phrase length to look for
What you get back
JSON with the edit distance and percent, and a phrases object (percentOfA, percentOfB, sharedPhrases) when phraseWords is sent.
Why use it
- Compares your two texts with each other only: it is not a web plagiarism check
- Case and punctuation are ignored when matching phrases
- Nothing is stored

Nothing you send is stored. Files and text are processed in memory and discarded when the response is returned.
