About Photo Slideshow Maker
Turns your photos into a self-running PowerPoint slideshow (.pptx): one, two or four photos per slide, optional captions and a title slide, a transition between slides (fade, dissolve, push, wipe or zoom), and a set number of seconds on each slide before it moves on by itself, with an option to loop. You set it up in three steps: add and order the photos, choose the settings, then preview and download. Open the file in PowerPoint and press F5 to play it.
There is no music or sound. Transitions and the timing are saved in the file; PowerPoint plays them in Slide Show view, and other programs may play fewer of them. The preview here shows the slides but does not play the transitions. Photos wider than 2560 pixels are reduced to keep the file a sensible size, and photos taken sideways on a phone are turned upright. Fit shows each photo whole; Fill covers its space and trims the edges. HEIC photos from some phones cannot be read by most browsers; save them as JPG first. To make a video from the slideshow, use PowerPoint's Export, Create a Video.
- Is there music?
- No. The slideshow has no sound. You can add music in PowerPoint.
- Does it play by itself?
- Yes. Set the seconds per slide and PowerPoint moves on by itself in Slide Show view; set 0 to wait for a click. Tick Start again at the end to loop.
- Will the transitions play everywhere?
- They are saved in the file and play in PowerPoint. Other programs may play fewer of them. The preview here shows the slides but does not play the transitions.
- Can I make a video?
- Yes. Save the slideshow, then use PowerPoint to Video on this site to make an MP4 (with optional music), or PowerPoint to GIF for a short loop. In PowerPoint itself, use Export, Create a Video.
How to use Photo Slideshow Maker
Step 1: drop your photos, put them in order and write a caption for any of them. Step 2: choose the slide shape, one, two or four photos per slide, fit or fill, the background, the transition and the seconds per slide, and an optional title slide. Step 3: check the preview and download. Open the file in PowerPoint and press F5.
When to use it
Useful for a family or event slideshow, a photo loop for a waiting room or stand, or a portfolio that runs by itself.
When not to use it
If you need music, video or detailed animation, build it in PowerPoint or a video editor. For one photo per slide with no timing, Images to PowerPoint is simpler.
Tips for best results
Name your files so they sort in the order you want. Use Fit for screenshots and Fill for photos. Five seconds is a good pace; use two or four per slide for a long set.
Limitations
Up to 200 photos. No sound. Transitions and timing play in PowerPoint's Slide Show view and may differ elsewhere. Photos wider than 2560 pixels are reduced. HEIC photos must be saved as JPG first. The result has not been checked in desktop PowerPoint.
Privacy
Your photos are read and the file is built inside your browser tab and are not uploaded. A request that counts the use goes to this site when you download and carries none of your photos.
