Write it, tag it, then check it's actually working for discovery.

The caption comes first because it's the actual content -- hashtags and keyword checking both exist to support the caption, not replace weak writing with better tagging. Hashtags follow because they're meant to extend an already-good caption's reach, not compensate for one that isn't working. A keyword-density sanity check is genuinely last, and its purpose is limiting, not maximizing -- confirming the post doesn't read as over-stuffed or spammy, which can hurt engagement as much as help discovery.
