Making a Video Highlight Reel

Trimming down to the best moments has to come before combining clips, since it's much easier to select the good parts from each individual clip than to trim a single long file after everything's already been merged together. The GIF version is a separate export, not a replacement for the video, since GIFs and video files serve different sharing contexts. A thumbnail is genuinely the last step, since it should represent the finished reel, not an early or unfinished version of it.
