Finishing a Self-Published Document
Once your book or magazine is assembled, the last real steps before it's ready to send out.
This assumes the writing and layout work is already done -- these are specifically the finishing steps after assembly, not the creative process itself. Assembling chapters into one paginated book comes first since compression and locking both need a complete file to work on, not individual chapter files. Compression matters because a full book with images can be genuinely large, and a lock is optional but worth doing before sending an early review copy to anyone outside a trusted circle.
Each step opens as its own tool -- download from one, upload into the next, same as any free tool on the site.
