Celebrating 200+ professional tools on FreeDailyPro, with brand-new categories and enhanced utilities.
When we started this round of development, FreeDailyPro had 133 tools across 15 categories. We just crossed 200 tools across 23 categories — and we're deliberately pausing new-tool development here to focus on what comes next. Here's what's new, and why 200 felt like the right place to pause.
9 brand new categories

Existing categories got bigger too
Text & Writing, Design & Color, and Security & Developer all grew significantly — new additions include a Reading Level Checker, a Citation Generator (APA/MLA/Chicago/Harvard), a color contrast checker for accessibility, a CSS/JS minifier, a Cron Expression Builder, and a real Screen Recorder that's been on our list since day one.

Why we're pausing here
Past 200, new tool ideas get narrower and each one serves fewer people. We would rather spend the next stretch making the existing tools more reliable, better documented, and easier to find than keep adding utilities for their own sake. Two hundred professional tools already cover documents, money, planning, design, and developer work, including categories that comparable sites skip entirely.
How to find what you need among 200+
With this many tools, browsing by category beats scanning one long list. A few quick routes:
- Use the grouped Category dropdown in the header if you know the kind of job, such as a calculator or a PDF task.
- Use the search box if you know the task but not the tool name, for example "moving cost" or "cron".
- Open the persona pages below if you want a curated starting set for your situation.
A student might begin with the citation, reading level, and college cost tools. A traveler might combine the itinerary builder, packing list, and budget planner. Neither needs to learn the whole catalog first.
What the daily allowance looks like
Every visitor gets 10 trial usages a day across the catalog, which is enough to try a new category properly. If a project needs more, such as a long afternoon of file conversions or a week of heavy planning, a Day Pass or Monthly Pro lifts the daily limit.
