When we started this round of development, FreeDailyPro had 133 tools across 15 categories. We just crossed 200 tools across 23 categories — and we're deliberately stopping free-tool development here to focus on what comes next. Here's what's new, and why 200 felt like the right place to pause.
9 brand new categories
- Travel Planning — budget planner, itinerary builder, packing lists, countdown planner
- Event Planning — budget planner, guest list & RSVP tracker, day-of schedule builder
- Household & Family — monthly budget planner, grocery & shopping lists, home inventory tracker

- E-commerce — profit margin, marketplace fee, shipping cost, and break-even calculators

Existing categories got bigger too
Text & Writing, Design & Color, and Security & Developer all grew significantly — new additions include a reading level checker, a citation generator (APA/MLA/Chicago/Harvard), a color contrast checker for accessibility, a CSS/JS minifier, a cron expression builder, and a real screen recorder that's been on our list since day one.

Why we're stopping here
200 free tools puts us solidly ahead of most comparable free-tool sites, and covers categories several of them don't touch at all. Going further into narrower tool ideas from here has real diminishing returns — so we're shifting focus to building a genuinely differentiated AI layer on top of what already exists, rather than continuing to add tools for their own sake.
